Green Apple Salsa
1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp lime juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced
1 jalapeño pepper, minced and seeded
1. Combine green onions, olive oil, lime juice, salt, lemon zest, apple, and jalapeño in a medium bowl. Toss until ingredients are well mixed.
2. Cover and refrigerate salsa until ready to use.
